As a professional journalist, she has written for Newsweek, Time, People, The Forward, and Reuters wire service. Master’s degree from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and second master’s in creative writing from Florida International University (FIU).
She currently teaches creative writing and memoir, having taught writing at the University of Miami and FIU. She has led workshops for the Miami International Book Fair, Books & Books, and other groups.
As a Miami-based editor, she works through email, Zoom, phone, or Skype. Clients include Holocaust survivors, Cuban exiles, former CEOs, and “regular” folks wanting to leave a few memories for their families.
My credo: we all have a story to tell when not limited by writer’s block, fear, or time. A good editor can move you beyond creative limitations using ideas, smarts, structure, and personal support.
